Intro
First off welcome to the TK-Bear Crew Page. It is here which we wish to show off our projects, props, costumes, films, share some tutorials, and to simply have a web page. Although we are all members of the 501st costuming legion the TK-Bear crew is an independent group.
History
The TK-Bear Crew officially began back at Dragon * Con 2003. It was there that I (TK-Bear) and Lonewolf realized that we, including his brother Cadet, had been going to just about every event that happened as a part of the Ohio Garrison of the 501st costuming legion. It was then that some of our friends then started calling us the TK-Bear Crew that weekend, and it took off from there.
From then on we continued to "troop" at every con and local charity event we could, until the eventual burnout set in. At that point we began work on all kinds of projects together ranging from Fan-Films to props and costumes. We sometimes add others to the crew but we do not always, and we are sorry but will will not be just accepting members to have members. This page simple is what it is, which at somepoint we would like to be a referance point for fellow costumers to help them create their ideas as well as spark new ones.
Patches
For those who wish to receive a TK-Bear Crew patch you either need to be a part of the crew or a close friend. We know patches are a big part of the 501st, but our patches are special to us, and we are sorry but we will not be making any for right now.
Goals
Now days The TK-Bear Crew is focusing on countless projects, and attempting to document them all here. We are working on several new short films as well as working to provide as many tutorials on costuming and prop making as we can.
