| As an obvious result of the Spider-man movies’ popularity there has been a dramatic rise in costumers doing movie style suits. However, Cadet was always more of a fan of the Spider-man and Peter Parker as presented in the comics, finding fault with the movie’s interpretation of the character. As a result, Cadet decided to do a costume based on one of his personal favorite versions of the costume, one rarely seen, the 1960s “Silver Age” version, as drawn the artist John Romita. Cadet contacted a well known superhero costume maker based out of Australia, who had done fantastic movie style versions of the Spider-man costume, and inquired about a comic style suit. Upon receiving the suit, Cadet made his own eye lenses for the costume, using black foamies for the outer edge, and modeler’s sculpting wire mesh for the eyes. | ||||
